  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)

Instructions
 

  • . Cook the Pasta
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, typically 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

    While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning them with salt and pepper.     Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, oregano, and basil. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
  • . Combine the Chicken and Pasta
    Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet, followed by the drained pasta. Gently toss everything together to ensure the pasta and chicken are well-coated in the creamy sauce.
  • . Optional: Add Vegetables
    If you’re adding spinach, mushrooms, or peas, stir them into the pasta mixture at this stage and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender and well-incorporated.
